Annual Scholarship Report

Summary

Beta Omega Alumni Association’s scholarship funds are maintained for the benefit of Beta Omega Chapter of Theta Xi Fraternity in support of it’s active members.  Two funds (Wiss Scholarship Fund and Vredenburgh Leadership Fund) are maintained and managed by the Virginia Tech Foundation, and the other (the Beta Omega Chapter Education Account or “CEA”) is under the umbrella of the Theta Xi National Foundation.

Contributions may also made be made, and are encouraged, to the Theta Xi National Foundation General Fund in support of the mission of the fraternity and “Theta Xi Experience” for all of it’s members.

These are off balance sheet “quasi” assets of BOAA in that they are not within complete control of the association and therefore not included on BOAA financial statements.
